A number of powerful computer imaging programs are on the market. For the best, expect to pay about $79-$99 for Photoshop Elements 3, or an estimated $99 for Paint Shop Pro 9. For the big guy on the block, Photoshop CS, $650 or more. 

Photoshop CS is now Photoshop CS2 - if you have some version of Photoshop, an upgrade version at a lower price is available for ~$149..
